| 1) There is no other
way but honor; the word of a Black Tiger shall be regarded as
absolute, and will be upheld by the giver of that word at all
costs. |
| 2) We are dedicated to
the study and betterment of the art and, in so doing, the betterment
of ourselves through it. |
| 3) In times of war, every
member of the band will consider it their solemn duty to cast
aside fear and find death on the battlefield; for it is in every
death that the swordsman is shown the path toward becoming stronger
still. |
| 4) Fealty will be held
only to the clan, superseded by no lord, lady, king, or kingdom
of any kind. Every man a brother, every woman a sister, the
clan united by the strength of our steel, the skill of our arms,
and devotion to justice, honesty, and self-control. |
| 5) In every war we will
present a united front against the enemy. Never will one clan
member sell his or her sword so as to place themselves in opposition
to their brothers and sisters. We are a band committed to unity,
the honor of one reflecting on the honor of all; and, as such,
a slight to one met as a slight to all. |
| 6) All major decisions
regarding the clan shall be voted upon openly by the entire
clan, the results of which shall be posted for all to see. |
| 7) All booty captured,
whether by payment for mercenary services, tribute, ransom,
or otherwise, shall be divided equally amongst the members of
the clan responsible for its capture. |
